watching the news

wondering

what i will write

with their pain

and i know

i need to be

forgiven

once again

a teacher is 

my hero

facing genocide

knowing and expressing

that children are our

future

let us not forget

that not all U.S. Citizens

are privileged

currently there are children

told their families are less

than great grand parents

kicked out of their homes

there are children

told they are not

their soul instead 

they are their biology

there are U.S. Citizens

told the sanctity of life

dose not apply to them
