is there a pattern

in the chaos

i don’t ask

because of a

poignant observation

i ask because

that is what we

are training our

future on

020260927

what do you want

in control

of violence

of legalized

state sanctioned

violence

when the revolution

of all revolutions

spins up

fear

or

love

locally grown food

available daily

from my own backyard

my menu

based on availability

planned

by the same system

that harvests

and plants the ingredients

020260927

before we

move to another

before we claim

another planet

as our home

we need to show

we are a family

no borders

more care of each other

020260927

i want to say

i am rationally

optimistic

about our future

because we have tried

and failed to

end humanity in the past

i guess i assume we have failed

and by my estimation

based on the historical record

written by and narrated

by the winners of any

past attempts

what kind of lives did past

species of hominin

lead

what technology

was imagined

that caused our today

did we evolve

and peacefully

replace our ancestor

020260927

you are headed

towards incalculable

sums of money

with just a 50% tax

on amazon and google's

capital deployed

on data centers

we could feed and shelter

all members of our

family

if the promise

if the sales pitch is

utopia

then let’s prove we

are willing to pay

for it

let’s plan for our

future and work towards

it now

let’s be

prepared for

having more

set our expectations

and social norms

for what’s possible

020260927

am i okay with

my digital footprint

being used to

animate the shell

the carcass

of my being

after i am

gone

if my reanimated

remains bring

joy and happiness

if it increases love

and reduces fear

i am

020260927

and they said

there is no

political will for that

the question was

using all the funds raised

for education on

education not t-rex a

highway expansion project

and i wondered if

their responsibility

was to educate us

so that there was

a base understanding to

encourage participation in

well here it is

i am the the political will

raise my taxes

fund all the

soft power projects

fund all the

dreams

fund development

based not in fear

fund those based in

love

to think we need

to make something

great again

means you think

tt is not great

right now

what kind of

self loathing

does it take to

think that about your

country when it’s

trying to be open to everyone

maybe none

maybe it takes self aggrandizement

and fear based zero sum thinking
