Lucy will be the oldest member of our family

guiding our futures
sharing her experience
she listens, they both do
to the pulse of those around them
intent on growth
seeking beauty which to share
encouraging everyone around
to absorb and reflect our truths
wisdom must be nature
fostered by self nurture
i expect to learn no less
from our youngest family member
then i will learn from our eldest
and i think that is how she would like it
