we move a mountain

one grain of sand at a time

shivers will run your spine

and you will claim motivation

beyond belief 

pointing out that we have so many mountains to move

if i say

that micro aggression

will pile up and become a mountain of hate

what is your reaction

have i misunderstood something

surely that isn't what they meant

maybe we dont have to say anything now 

but keep an eye open for it in the future

here is the thing we often forget 

when we are asleep

when we dream

there is already a mountain

it is either rolling over us

or holding us

we must dismantle this mountain

this system of oppression

not just move it or transform it

gilding the mountain flowers
