memories of holding hands

touch the land
to take that from a people

admit our failures
ask forgiveness from
members of our global family

that’s one thing good our
technologies can be leveraged

change in a capitalist society
raising awareness as well
as engaging greed to respond
to pain and either
capitulate or innovate

is nourishing physically

humans are resilient
